My Journey
Mahmoud Telfah is a dedicated physicist and materials science researcher whose work focuses on advancing the understanding of nanomaterials, thin films, optical materials, biomedical physics, and semiconductor technologies. His research combines experimental investigation with advanced analytical techniques to develop innovative materials for applications in energy, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and modern electronics.
He earned a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of New Mexico (USA) after completing his Master of Science in Physics at Jordan University of Science and Technology. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Physics from Yarmouk University, providing a multidisciplinary foundation that integrates physics with biomedical applications.
Throughout his career, Mahmoud has collaborated with internationally recognized research institutions, including the Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences (ISAS) in Germany. His work has involved the synthesis and characterization of advanced materials, antimicrobial nanocomposites, water filtration membranes, semiconductor materials, conductive polymers, and optical thin films.
His research contributions have resulted in numerous peer-reviewed publications in respected international journals covering materials chemistry, semiconductor processing, polymer science, photonics, and applied physics. His scientific interests continue to expand toward developing sustainable materials and innovative technologies for future scientific challenges.
Beyond research, Mahmoud has served as a teaching assistant and research assistant at leading universities while also contributing to science education through teaching physics and natural sciences. His passion lies not only in conducting impactful research but also in mentoring students and fostering scientific collaboration across disciplines and countries.
Today, Mahmoud remains committed to advancing scientific knowledge through interdisciplinary research, international collaboration, and the development of innovative materials that address real-world challenges.
